Scotland mostly - through nsl4u

The most climbed Munro in Scotland; the Ptarmigan hill route by far the
best. The path is seriously 'cut' and I know after running it some 15 years
ago and since a few times more and walking.
We had the 5 seasons in one day as can be expected in Scotland, but mostly
very enjoyable. It was heartening to see so many people out and really
experiencing what variety we have at the best.

Bailey was really fantastic and this is his first BIG HILL. He did twice the
walk we did and was so confident, so happy and so good...the trailbreaker,
the leader, the carer, the friend. He is a truly remarkably good boy and
family run pet, a real commendation to the girls.

The weather was great and you'll even note the snow; the fronts blew in and
cleared. The sea-plane flew up over Loch Lomond, towards the west coast by
the Arrochar Alps, and I snapped it over Ben Arthur, or often known as the
iconic 'Cobbler'. The primroses were beautiful along with the bluebells.
Black hill cattle studded the lower slopes like tadpoles on the hillside.
The views enthrall.

Just playing about with a few pictures of Scotland's most regularly summited
hill (3,192 feet) ....from the view point at the Bishopton roundabout on the
M8 (going west past the Erskine Bridge). The Ptarmigan hill is on the left
(west side) and makes a really grand walk; I used to be able to run every
inch of the way.
