Cairngorms, Glen Feshie, Loch an Eilean- August 2010
Rothiemurchus Forest with the grand old men in various aspects of shedding
boughs, or knarled and in decay.....standing or fallen they are wonderfully
colossal.
Glen Feshie (Feshie Burn) shows 3 raised beaches from over the
millennia...and a great track heads up to Carn Ban Mor and the big Plateau
of Braeriach, etc.
The woods hide flora and fauna aplenty....another great outdoors
jewel.....long may it stand and flourish given a bit of protection.
If you haven't been ''go there'' - be ready to face variable weather, but
never be hesitant to follow the trails and explore.
