On a lovely Summer's evening ......the backdrop of the Campsie Fells, cows
in rich pasture.....then along the canalbank, the 3 deer casually made their
way along to browse and drink and play a bit, and then ..across the barley
field to a safer distance...a lovely 20 minutes. The doe looks like she is
heavily pregnant.

A half mile back, there is a local drinking den , where the youths socialise
and lighten their spirits with yes, alcohol in various forms....the socially
unacceptable whole.....is likely underage drinking, and to excess; the
broken glass strewn about the side of the bog land and pasture, and the
copious littering...not nice and no pride.
Out of sight out of mind, so they are most probably not bothered by the
Police or seen to be too socially disruptive because they are out of
Kirkintilloch some way.....

The wildlife and views made up for our general disappointment with the young
team.
