nsl = 'nihil sine labore' = no reward without effort - the motto above the portico of the Elderslie Library in Govan, Glasgow; also the motto of that wonderful athletics club Shettleston Harriers who celebrated their centenary (in 2004 - John Cairney; John Mackay). I love the outdoors and like to stay busy. Hoping the content of this humble blog gives you some enjoyment.

Nearby Torrance 17/05/09

I've not checked the egg type yet.... pecked out for a hatchling....
Aren't bluebells just some of the most striking flower carpets that will
ever be seen/ They do such wonderful contrast with the green canopy...
