Thought this was the Sospan Dau that did the earlier dredging, but not....
so a sister ship....?
Caught her going up river on eve of the 5th (first pic) then hard at work
early morning on the 6th.....
A workhorse of a boat, and as scruffy and tired no doubt as the amount of
tonnes of dredged silt she's lifted would witness for.
The name indicates of foreign flag, and I'm wondering if from the likes of
Poland or the Danube/ Rhine etc....maybe she just does the UK and plies her
way around the estuaries taking better fees that 'at home'...? Good luck to
her.
Certainly though the Clyde gets far less up-river dredge work that when the
docks were taking heavy metal and bigger gross tonnages into the City.....
