4/03/09 Clyde Estuary from shore and Lyle Hill
drifting upriver - downriver towards the Holy Loch, stunning
wedding-cake-iced hills; then at Greenock esplanade looking upriver to the
Point crane ..with an eerie cloudy high lit sky to semi- silhouette.....
On a gloriously bright day, to catch the vistas get up high for the expanse
of panorama, or take the waterline and see what colours develop towards the
snowy caps....
A decent selection of the Argyll hills, down to Gourock quay and train
station, the boating action and including the old lump of cigar, the
capsized 'Sugar Boat'....
What a rare day!
