Scotland mostly - through nsl4u

From the Carbeth Inn - Drymen road, a wee traipse up the track to the moor
top with good views and up to the island studded Loch Lomond; then over to
Burncrooks reservoir. In the distance the vantage point from the Kilpatricks
favourite round....Duncolm hill? (- I'll check this).
Looking back views of the jutting Whangie rocks - the ancient 'tale' of
being split by an angry dragon's tail, whilst in pursuit of a fleeing
aggravator!
Around the water, with wee pics of lichens; the dam head and back towards
the Loch's islands.

Then 'The Whangie' fissure that is now used regularly by rock climbers; I
think it's maybe about a jagged and dank 40 feet inside; climbing is mostly
on the drier outside pinnacles.

Well worth a wee visit; this walk was a canny 3 hours with picnic stop for
10 minutes.
