Kippen 23/11/08 - a few days later shows the 'change'
they take on the white mantle, they rarely lose it until well towards
Spring. The Big Plateau of the Cairngorms being well into the middle of the
country, holds snow well through to May and June many years.
You can get frosts 'ANY' night of the year in Braemar...sitting down in a
hollow in the middle of big hills. I remember a white 22nd of August many
years ago.
