Scotland mostly - through nsl4u

A stop-over at Keswick on the way north, in mixed but dry weather again.
Keswick is such a delightful touristy, quaint Lakeland town of real charm -
the hills beckoned and though Skiddaw (and Old Man) was there along with
Grisedale Pike and the Coledale Horseshoe, we settled for the excellent
Latrigg Hill.
This whole area was the fabulously successful World Mountain Running Trophy
venue in about 1980 or so,,,, (sorry memory fails me!).
I remember the classy Italians yet again did 'The Italian Job' on all the
rest of us for the umpteenth time!

Ahhh, the 'good old days'....Cheers, Denis.
