FW: Above Fintry 15/07/08 evening as the rains swept in (the precursor for many weeks to come!)
Hole...
We wended up the forest track and were looking for the thickly wooded top
(never got there!) but I did some snappy snapping. The star was the fawn,
whose Mum cleared off into the thick woods pdq, but then in confusion she
started to come down the track towards us...soon got frightened and never to
be glimpsed again that evening!
The light was that enticing clear, squally, and bright, all in several fast
moving minutes..The range is the Gargunnocks, south west of Kippen, or north
of Fintry, slightly easterly.
Brisk and bracing as the light faded and we ducked through the showers.
