Scotland mostly - through nsl4u

                   
On the way back home over the Campsie Fells, this was the (rather unexpected) spate of the Glazert which tumbles over about 8 cascades with about 800 feet total drop, in less than a mile.....it is awesomely spectacular.....a total 'death zone'. There was no resisting the urge to catch the speed and energy that boiled in release under gravity. This reflects some seriously heavy and persistent deluges over several days; we didn't suffer quite the same over east and north...

The deer was down at the water's edge and I hoped to get much closer....it got sight of me and though the river noise was a crashing din, it took off at great speed up the hill...
