Gulls, 17th June at Greenock esplanade
I think I have mentioned before that to throw food for the birds and get pictures is incredibly difficult, they are sooo quick!
I have tried a few times to get some good action shots and with limited luck.
On this set you'll not that one was very aggressive towards a weaker looking (maybe older) bird, and it kept at it several times, and to me seemed to be trying to drown it...rather brutal and sickening nature at work....

Good photos of the gulls. Yes, nature is indeed red in tooth and claw as they say, and beak too it seems. Poor bird. Still, maybe they have a quicker end that way than lingering on if they are failing.
