Mary and I did them on a glorious Sunday and enjoyed every moment, every
angle, every vista beyond the norm...we saw south to the sisters of Vorlich
and Stuc a Chroin, and north to the Ben and the Aonachs...this is one of
the greatest vantage points in a mid Scotland you can enjoy. Directly east
is Lawyers an sister tops.
The sheilings have it for the place to be in midgie-free northern pastures!
We see the modern view of the ruined idyll of what must have been sometimes
heaven and hell on earth, but where is the true legacy and spoken or written
word of daily events and life as they knew it. Meantime it is supposition
and folklore lyrics and sentimental crap, because 'we weren't
there'........The times about and before the 'Clearances'...God rest ethnic
