The Tarmachen Ridge above Killin 1/06/08
After a great evening in Strathyre, got going early on Sat. a.m. and beat the cafes opening in Killin so made do with a packed 'brunch' out of the store. Then it was off up to the Ben Lawers visitor centre car park and an old favourite of ours, the Tarmachen Ridge.
Wonderful day again, and a good stroll out by the quarry track...a decent way to stretch out and get ready for the short but steep ascent onto the ridge.
Quite a few folks out and we had a super steady walk enjoying stunning views in all directions.

Beautiful craggy scenery - very impressive. Nice photo of your wife with the view behind, and the other one with the reflection in the pool. The flowers and sheep photos are great too - I especially like the solitary sheep one. Many years since I went to Killin and other parts of Perthshire, and saw Ben Lawers across Loch Tay. (I had an aunt in Aberfeldy in those days)
