The boats, and scale of the Look-out Tower, and the modern art that catches
the sentiment...''truth'' and ''prospect''....what more powerful words to be
the prow of ribs for a barque....? Where is the community going, where has
it been, where are we now? Have we the courage to go forward where our
brave and hardy ancestors have been.............? Is there glory and life
a-font of us... Will Greenock and Port Glasgow and Gourock rise above the
difficult times of recent past? Yes, we will..there is the Watter in front
and to each side ..the legacy demands from us....we will survive and excel.
