Would you believe it...? Dredging along by Dumbarton Rock and then this disposal event.
They'll fill the black silt over with rubble of all sorts and build NEW HOUSES on it..!....It's ''cheaper to fill it in than make a real feature out of it..sometimes the developers and planners have such little foresight it frightens me. Why would you do that?.....real estate bubbles burst too and 'when it's gone it's gone'...........There is no doubt that lots along the shore is being done up superbly well, but then why fill in this charismatic, historic dock to build 15 house son it......very sad, especially when there's lots of spare room all around here and right along the Inverclyde shore that was for too long abandoned and derelict. They wouldn't do this inner London Thames side or nearer the City centres...

Awed at this temporary unusual sight, but a bit despondent too.
