Scotland mostly - through nsl4u

 (First half of an afternoon's 2 1/2 hour walk).
                                              
The old railway track is in pretty good condition but quite clatchy on several stretches; the views over country to the beautiful waterfall (Spout of Ballagan) and backdrop of the Strathblane Campsie Fells is grand. The Campsie Glen is fine pasture and good flocks, with some cattle and few of the fantastic 'Robert the Bruce' black ponies on low fields all adds to the feeling of Spring.
Coming from Clachan of Campsie towards the path by the burn side we caught glimpse of the dipper..a wee beauty.
The return journey same path was so different given the changing light, by later afternoon...
