You just cannot beat this and the variety of looking and seeing is just awesome.
Go and do it and you'll never be disappointed. I'll be back this year and hopefully camping in a week nook somewhere.

A great day with stunning views and good visibility of some 20 miles...
Ben Lomond with sisterly Ptarmigan (and spectacular falls off the lower slope), Arrochar Alps, Ben Arthur (The legendary 'Cobbler'), igneous rocks, [pebble beaches, craggy inlets, plant-life etc...GREAT. We enjoyed seeing the banks in some form of restoration, after the stripping out of that hellish rhododendron....good on you woodsman lads and lassies!
