Scotland mostly - through nsl4u

Views are looking North towards Ben Ledi, Stuc a Chroin, Ben Vorlich and Ben Lomond (westerly)...possibly glimpsing Stobinian and Ben More (north westerly to centre) - the south Highland big boys.....

Meikle Bin at some 1800 feet though, is a really grand viewpoint all around. The unfortunate aircraft wreckage tells a different story in different light from the war years...supposedly coming up the Forth Estuary and across country towards Glasgow and the yards / works on the Clyde. I've not worked out what the smoking 'industrial complex' is off to the east.
The puppy is about 9 months, and being a Collie-Spaniel cross totally energy driven and in really beautiful nick seen by the glorious sheen off his coat and perpetually wagging tale...out in the 'big country' and not a bit of bother, just totally exploring - and covering at least twice that of our walking efforts!

Along the forest track, fortunately the many puddles held good clusters of spawn and here's hoping proliferation is the name of the coming season.......

Tom Weir loved the Campsies best of all the Scottish hills, due to their magic and closeness, accessibility to north Glasgow...You know from my blog that I have covered most parts at speed and love all the variety, and rarely trod places, that still exist so close to the City.

What a day, changing views and moods all the way through.
