This was a long run north for a social weekend. The River Ness was full to the embankments and running hard.
Can't remember just when but the old rail bridge was washed away about 10 years ago.
On the way up, the Tay and Spey River plains were heavily flooded; the water catchment is colossal for both and this is nature's power towards it's maximum - must be billions of gallons per day.

Coming home we stopped of at Ballinluig (truck stop and road café at the Aberfeldy junction) for some refreshments and calories after a hard weekend! A nice visit to the Highland Capital after quite some time. Best regards, Denis.
