Scotland mostly - through nsl4u

                         
We had the promise of certain intriguing views from the col, then got about 5 minutes worth of opening and closing shots at the cool top...the raven was a super distraction. The trip down was fine and when we stopped for a wee snack...the harvester spider decided on a bit of Tunnocks Caramel Log chocolate for tea!
Just below the col it cleared a fair bit and warmed so a canny saunter to the car was a delight.
Loch Ard was still and peaceful with the grazing horses in the paddock, and the colours reflecting nicely in the still water.
Off to the Aberfoyle tea room for another calories intake, then homewards.

Highly recommended; the route can be taken point to point from over near Loch Katrine (of course that's the Maid of the Loch, on the Loch seen way below from Venue's summit).
