R Clyde estuary 070921
The picture of the info board tells the story of how the timbers were
floated in the 'boxes' for a rent until needed by the sawmills. Finlaystone
Estate were benefactors of this previous industry.
Dilapidated and defunct but they give the area a real, stark
beauty..yesterday's purpose is today's postcard.
Very little is seen when the tide is in.
