Govan and the waterfront developments with old character still to be 'modernised' 070912
As I moved upriver from Port Glasgow and Erskine Bridge, the light was good
enough to get some more good shots, and the 'guys' at the lighthouse had
told me ''that a tall ship had come in but was too tall to get under the
Erskine Bridge''...well it wasn't moored before the Bridge.
I got into the south side old dry docks and got a good variety of shots;
this will not last and is under significant planning and development work
(Clyde Riverfront Plan over some 5-15 years, £2+ billion investment I
believe).

There is a jumble of modern shapes that contrasts with the purpose of tall
ships' riggings....
Well worth looking for the angles and timing to get the right contents.....
Kind regards, Denis.
